our growing story

Our Pretty Wild journey started in 2016 whilst planning our own wedding. As we sourced local suppliers for our catering, stipulating locally grown and organic produce where possible, it dawned on us that there wasn’t an option like this for our flowers. That’s when the seed was sown! The aim; to provide locally grown cut flowers and luxury floral arrangements that are kinder to the planet. After months of planning and a lot of hard work, we built our little Flower Farm.

The protection and regeneration of the surrounding wildlife is something that we are passionate about, so using organic and sustainable growing methods is at the forefront of everything that we do.

We work seasonally, growing beautifully unique flowers from Spring through Summer into the early Autumn months. These flowers are then harvested throughout the growing season, carefully dried or pressed to fill our home studio with preserved materials for our natural creations, providing Pretty Wild Flowers for Weddings, Events and Home Interiors all year round.

our shepherd’s hut

The ‘Fold is our unique, hand crafted shepherd’s hut. Designed and built by us, the hut offers guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy the surroundings that we feel so lucky to live in.

The aim of the build was to create a space that is both luxurious and comfortable whilst being sympathetic to the surroundings.

The ‘Fold is completely off-grid, built using as many reclaimed materials as possible, we have even rebuilt a section of the historic sheepfold in which the hut is located.
